Life Lessons from my attempt to light a match 

My First attempt to light a match was when I was 9. I was supposed to light up the stove so we could cook something but I was scared. I had heard and read a little about fire so all I could think of was how I would be burned.. So I told my mum, ‘I can’t do this. It will burn me.’ She insisted and said, ‘Strike the Match’. I started crying, ‘It will burn me’ .. I was terrified. She said, ‘Do it!’. I did but guess what, the fire touched my skin just like I predicted.. And I threw the match and ran to my room feeling really sad and betrayed.
